The Odyssey TRTL S putter is for golfers who swing the putter on an arc but want the forgiveness of a mallet. Its slant neck gives it 30° of toe hang, the most of any TRTL, so the face can open and close in rhythm with your stroke. Odyssey's new high-MOI TRTL head keeps it stable on off-center putts.

Why golfers choose the TRTL S Putter

  • 30° toe hang works with a moderate- to strong-arc stroke, not against it
  • 1/2-shaft offset gives a clean look with less offset than the CH or DB
  • Blade-style face rotation with mallet-level forgiveness
  • Ai-Star dual-layer insert for consistent ball speed and better forward roll
  • Four adjustable perimeter weights to fine-tune balance and feel

Best for: Moderate- to strong-arc strokes.

TRTL technology, explained

A high-MOI mid-mallet that's easy to aim

The TRTL shape gives you mallet-level stability in a compact, clean profile. Off-center strikes hold their line and speed better, so a slight miss still finishes near the hole.

Multi-material construction

A steel body with a premium black PVD finish is paired with a lightweight ABS shell and an aerospace-grade aluminum sole. That pushes mass to the perimeter for more stability and forgiveness.

Adjustable perimeter weighting

Four weight ports let you shift the center of gravity forward, back, toward the heel or toward the toe to fine-tune toe hang and feel. It's a level of adjustability Odyssey hasn't offered in a mallet before. Optional weight kits are sold separately.

Alignment you can trust

The TRTL uses Twin Track Alignment: two parallel white sightlines that run the full length of the head, giving you a clear reference from address through impact to help you start putts on line.

Ai-Star insert

Designed with AI, the dual-layer Ai-Star insert pairs an aluminum inner layer with a firm urethane face for consistent ball speed across the face, better forward roll, and the soft, responsive feel Odyssey is known for.

Engineered to sit square

New sole geometry with refined rake and camber helps the head sit flush and square at address, so you set up the same way every time.

Black SL 120 shaft

Odyssey's Tour-preferred SL 120 steel shaft in a black PVD finish that matches the head.

New Tour Pistol grip

Developed from Tour player feedback, its crisp edges fit your hands and help you sense where the face is pointing throughout the stroke.

Proven on Tour

  • Yuna Nishimura earned her first LPGA win with a TRTL putter, winning by five shots (per Odyssey).
  • Tommy Morrison had a TRTL in the bag when he clinched his 2027 PGA TOUR card on the Korn Ferry Tour (per Odyssey).
  • Within weeks of its debut, Odyssey counted 10 TRTL putters in play at a Korn Ferry Tour event and 9 at a DP World Tour event.

Which TRTL putter is right for you?

All four share the same TRTL shape, Ai-Star insert and adjustable weighting. The hosel changes how the face moves during your stroke, so match it to how your stroke moves.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose a mallet with toe hang?
Many golfers with an arc stroke struggle with face-balanced mallets because the face fights their natural rotation. The TRTL S's 30° toe hang lets you keep your stroke while gaining mallet stability.

What length putter should I choose?
34" is the most common length. As a starting point, golfers under about 5'8" often prefer 33", and golfers over about 6'1" often prefer 35". Posture and arm length matter too, so if you're between sizes, go with what feels comfortable when your eyes are over the ball.

Is it available left-handed?
This model is right-handed only. Left-handed golfers can choose the TRTL Double Bend or Square 2 Square TRTL MAX.

Does it come with a headcover?
Yes. Every TRTL putter comes with a matching TRTL mallet headcover.

Can I change the weights?
Yes. The four perimeter weights can be swapped to adjust balance and toe hang. Odyssey weight kits are sold separately.

When will my putter ship?
The TRTL line is on pre-order. We'll ship your order as soon as we receive stock from Odyssey.
