You have to give the Sure Putt a try. It clearly shows you the break on those greens that are tough to read.

This level worked as expected. It is a bit larger than a typical bubble level which is good for uneven surfaces. You can learn to use your feet to gauge slope by checking with this.

The Sure Putt really helps to show the subtle changes in slope of the greens. I use it a few times per round when the slope looks different from different angles.
