The Sure Putt Pro Red golf green reader shows which way your putt breaks, and whether it plays uphill or downhill, the moment you set it on the green. It's a 2-inch, 4 oz disc of machined aluminum with a precision leveling vial, in the Red design: classic design with engraved golfer silhouettes. Point the arrow at the hole, read the bubble, and putt with a clearer picture of the break.
Why It Works
Misreading break costs more putts than most golfers realize. Surrounding hills, tree lines and the horizon fool your eyes, but a level doesn't. Sure Putt gives you an honest read so you can compare it to what you saw.
Used on the practice green, it trains your eyes. Make your read, check it with the Sure Putt, and over time you start to spot subtle slope without the tool.
How It Works
A precision leveling vial sits in the center of the disc. The bubble always floats to the high side of the green. The face is engraved in four quadrants, Up Hill Breaks Right, Up Hill Breaks Left, Breaks Right Down Hill and Breaks Left Down Hill, so the quadrant the bubble sits in tells you the read without any math.
If the bubble stays in the center circle, the putt is flat. The farther the bubble moves from center, the more slope there is.

How to Use It
- Read the putt yourself and decide which way you think it breaks.
- Lay the Sure Putt flat on your line, behind the ball or between the ball and the hole.
- Point the arrow at the hole.
- Read the quadrant the bubble sits in: uphill or downhill, breaks left or right.
- Compare it to your read, then putt.
Key Features
- Instant read. Four engraved quadrants show uphill/downhill and left/right break at a glance.
- Precision leveling vial. Shows direction and amount of slope.

- Engraved, not printed. Machine-engraved markings won't wear off.
- Red design. Classic design with engraved golfer silhouettes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Sure Putt Pro read a green?
Lay it flat on your line with the arrow toward the hole. The bubble in the leveling vial floats to the high side, and the engraved quadrant it lands in tells you whether the putt is uphill or downhill and which way it breaks.
Is the Sure Putt legal in tournaments?
No. Under the Rules of Golf you can't use a device to measure slope during a round. Use it for practice, casual rounds and learning greens.
What is the difference between the Sure Putt Pro and the Sure Putt Lite?
Both are 2-inch bubble-level green readers. The Pro is machined aluminum at about 4 oz with anodized color and engraved markings, and comes with a carry bag. The Lite is a 0.5 oz ABS plastic version at a lower price.
Will the color fade?
No. The color is anodized into the aluminum, so it won't fade or chip like paint.
Does it work indoors?
Yes. It reads slope on any putting surface, including indoor greens and putting mats.
What designs are available?
The Sure Putt Pro comes in classic Red, Black, Blue, Navy Blue and Gunmetal, four Poker Chip designs, and four USA Limited Edition designs.
